Galaxis offers an innovative approach to community building, allowing creators not only to design, deploy, and manage communities, but to fully own them. Nobody can deplatform a community created with Galaxis, not even Galaxis itself.
Below is a short list of the most important platform features, with links to more information.
Galaxis builds its functions around Community Membership Cards.
Community Membership Cards created by Galaxis are more than just digital assets; they are the key to a rich array of community features and benefits. With Galaxis, creators can craft unique experiences for their members, fostering engagement and loyalty.
Badges on Galaxis enhance the value of Membership Cards by adding diverse features and functions. These badges can vary widely, encompassing elements like exclusive badges, discount coupons, both digital and physical redeemable items, game passes, and access keys. Utility Badges are designed to enrich the membership experience, providing cardholders with a range of enjoyable and practical benefits that enhance their engagement with the community.
Modifiers help the community creator to actively influence the community's core values and incentivise behavior that upholds said values.
If you think about your community as a massive online game, then modifiers are the rules that you can set for that game.
Vaults are a distinctive and versatile feature available to creators on the Galaxis platform, serving as specialized repositories for an array of rewards and assets within their communities. These Vaults provide a unique mechanism for creators to enhance engagement and offer value to their members, effectively acting as a central hub for rewards distribution.
The built in Community Economy can ensure transparency, and can enable a financially self-sustaining community that can support the project, creator and values that are at the core of the community.
Only the community owner has access to the community's funds.
The Galaxis platform features leaderboards to track, incentivize, and reward community activities. Communities can have multiple themed leaderboards, like those for active traders, lockers, or gamers, although a single leaderboard promoting balanced community activity is common. Participation in a leaderboard requires a badge, which accumulates points for activities, reflecting the card's position. Leaderboards can operate in seasons, concluding activities, distributing prizes, and resetting points for new seasons, or be open-ended. Rewards on leaderboards are of two types: temporal rewards for fulfilling specific criteria during a season and final rewards given at a season's end.
Enable community creators to create collectible sets of digital objects and reward community members who complete the challenges.
