Vaults are a distinctive and versatile feature available to creators on the Galaxis platform, serving as specialized repositories for an array of rewards and assets within their communities. These Vaults provide a unique mechanism for creators to enhance engagement and offer value to their members, effectively acting as a central hub for rewards distribution.
Vaults on Galaxis are capable of containing an extensive variety of rewards, which can range from digital assets like NFTs and exclusive content to physical merchandise and unique experiences. This flexibility allows creators to tailor their rewards to the specific interests and dynamics of their community, ensuring that the incentives are both relevant and appealing to members.
One of the key features of Vaults is the ability for creators to set up customized mechanics for reward distribution. This could include random allocation of rewards, ensuring a surprise element and fairness in distribution, or more structured approaches based on specific variables like possession of certain traits or membership levels. This level of customization ensures that the distribution of rewards aligns with the creator's vision and the community's ethos.
Creators have the freedom to establish Vaults at any point, allowing them to respond to the evolving needs and interests of their community. This timely creation and adaptation of Vaults ensure that communities remain dynamic and engaging. Members have something to look forward to, whether it’s through ongoing participation or as part of special events and milestones.
The introduction of Vaults within a community acts as a powerful incentive for active participation. Knowing that there are tangible rewards to be gained, members are more likely to engage regularly and contribute to the community’s vibrancy and growth.
The Community Creator can set up an "online vending machine" by creating a vault, putting in utility traits (for example, "online meeting" traits), and setting the vault to dispense a utility trait every time when a community member pays $5.
There can be multiple different digital objects in the same "vending machine", just like in a real vending machine.
So, as long as the "Vending Machine" still has merchandise, any community member can buy it and add the utility to their Community Card.
When a vault is set up in the "Vending Machine" style, then the user can select (pick) the merchandise they want to purchase.
The Artist / Community Creator can set up a Vault and drop prizes (NFTs, utilities, digital objects). Then, they can set the vault so it will dispense one of the prizes when a specific token is presented. That token can only be obtained by completing a Sticker Book puzzle or by winning an online tournament.
In this instance, the vault operates with a reward dispenser.
The artist can create a secondary collection for their community (the primary being the membership card) and place it in a vault. Then, any community member can purchase one or more items from the new collection by paying the price.
When a Vault is set up in the "Capsule Toy Machine" style, the user can not select the item; it is randomly selected for them.
Vaults replace "online stores" with a trusted, independent solution where the real ownership of the store belongs to the community creator.
Vaults are very versatile and provide a useful addition to any community. We will reveal the details of all the options soon.
Vaults are very useful, but it did occur to us that the name "Vault" might not be the best choice. We would like to ask the help of the community here and create a contest to name this very useful feature better.
