Galaxis leverages Particle Network to streamline user onboarding by abstracting traditional crypto wallet complexities. Instead of requiring users to manage seed phrases or install browser extensions, Galaxis enables login via familiar social platforms like Google or X (formerly Twitter). This transforms the "Connect Wallet" action into a simple OAuth-based sign-in process.
Upon login, users receive a self-custodial wallet generated and secured through Particle Network. This wallet is fully functional and user-controlled, but its creation is seamless, removing the usual barriers of Web3 onboarding.
Now that Galaxis has integrated Particle Network's wallet abstraction functionality, potential community members with accounts on platforms like Google or X can join with ease and mint community cards—even if they've never created a crypto wallet or interacted with Web3 technologies before.
Here are several screenshots showing the implemented wallet abstraction functionality on a Galaxis community page from the perspective of a visitor who wants to acquire a community membership card.
