The Comment Wall feature allows meaningful, structured discussions under community news posts. Each news item can have threaded comments up to three levels deep (comment → reply → reply to reply).
- Only users with a primary membership card in the community can post comments.
- Everyone can read the comments, regardless of membership — making discussions transparent, while commenting remains a members-only privilege.
- In newly created communities, the Comment Wall is enabled by default.
- In existing communities, the community owner needs to enable it manually.
- The community owner should go to the community page.
- Connect with the wallet that was used to create the community.
- Once connected, a green “Admin” button will appear in the top-right corner.
- Clicking it redirects to the Community Admin interface (note: this is not the Mission Control!).
- On this admin page, the owner can enable the Comment Wall for their community.
- Users can delete their own comments at any time.
- The community owner can delete any comment, for example, if it's inappropriate.
- Deleted comments are not permanently removed — the owner can restore them, and they will reappear on the Comment Wall.
Community owners can block users from commenting if they violate community standards.
- Blocked users cannot write new comments or edit their previous ones.
- The block can be lifted at any time, restoring the user's ability to comment.
On the Community Admin interface:
- A full list of blocked users is available.
- Owners can block or unblock users manually, even by membership card ID.
- Deleted comments are also listed here, and can be restored at the owner's discretion.
